ATC West Healthcare Services is looking for a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide locum tenens call coverage in a hospital setting. This role involves managing adult and geriatric patients and performing routine general surgical and endoscopic procedures in a two-surgeon practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general surgery call coverage
  • Perform routine general surgical and endoscopic procedures
  • Manage adult and geriatric patients
  • Work in a well-supported hospital environment
  • Handle an average of 2 surgical cases per day

Required skills

  • Board Certified in General Surgery
  • Ohio Medical License
  • ACLS Certification
  • Self-Query NPDB Report (dated within 30 days)
  • Experience with laparoscopic cholecystectomy
  • Experience with GI endoscopy: Colonoscopy and Upper endoscopy
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR
