Overview

Sygnetics Healthcare is seeking a full-time locum General Surgeon to serve the veteran population at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact veterans' lives positively while enjoying the scenic Appalachian Mountains.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide GENERAL SURGERY Physician care
  • Be present at scheduled clinics/surgeries start times
  • Communicate test results to patients and providers
  • Follow established medication policies and procedures
  • Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions

Required skills

  • Completed residency in General Surgery
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by ABS
  • Active, unrestricted Medical License in any state
  • Current DEA
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association
  • Strong patient communication skills
  • Experience in medication management and discharge planning
