Overview

Saint Peters Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Colorectal Surgeon to join their multidisciplinary team in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The Division of Colorectal Surgery specializes in diagnoses and treatment of various colorectal conditions, utilizing advanced surgical techniques including laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgeries. This full-time position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for teaching and career growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform colorectal surgeries including colonoscopies and treatment of colorectal cancer
  • Engage in office consultations and endoscopy days
  • Participate in a call schedule of 1:6 for emergency responses
  • Collaborate with a multispecialty surgical practice including nurses and surgical coordinators
  • Contribute to the academic environment by teaching residents and students

Required skills

  • MD or DO licensed in New Jersey or eligible for licensure
  • Completed residency in General Surgery
  • Completed fellowship in Colorectal Surgery
  • Board certified or eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery
  • DEA and New Jersey CDS licensed or eligible for licensure
