Overview

The role is for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in breast surgery within a physician-led healthcare network in Rye, New York. This full-time position emphasizes collaborative patient care and support from a dedicated care team, allowing providers to focus on patient management without administrative distractions.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and counsel new patients with breast cancer
  • Evaluate and counsel new patients with benign breast concerns
  • Conduct long-term evaluation and monitoring of patients successfully treated for breast cancer
  • Assist in post-operative care of patients
  • Evaluate and monitor patients at high risk of developing breast cancer
  • Provide genetic counseling as needed

Required skills

  • New York NP or PA license
  • Board certification (PA-C, FNP, etc.)
  • DEA registration
  • 1+ year advanced practice experience in breast surgery preferred
  • Previous RN or relevant experience may be considered
  • Genetic counseling experience preferred but training provided
