Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant for locum coverage in Lexington, KY. This full-time role involves assisting in cardiovascular surgeries, patient care, and on-call duties within an academic medical setting.

Key responsibilities

  • First-assisting in cardiovascular procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting and CABG
  • Conducting morning rounds with faculty on 5-10 ICU patients
  • Taking night and weekend call
  • Collaborating with faculty and team in a non-solo position

Required skills

  • Minimum one year of recent experience first-assisting in cardiovascular procedures
  • Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting and CABG
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Board Certified PA or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA
  • Active Kentucky (KY) license
