Overview

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a locum opportunity in Nevada. The ideal candidate will have experience as a first assist and, preferably, in vein harvesting. The role requires a Nevada license and is set to start on October 13, 2025.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide first assist in cardiovascular surgery
  • Perform vein harvesting if qualified
  • Work approximately 8 hours on-site
  • Manage night and weekend call responsibilities
