Job Description

Overview

Necnic Group is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established Cardiothoracic practice in East Texas. The ideal candidate will be board certified and have at least one year of experience in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition
  • Assist physicians during surgery and complicated medical procedures
  • Interpret diagnostic test results
  • Make tentative diagnoses and treatment decisions
  • Compile and record patient medical data
  • Explain procedures and aftercare requirements to patients and families
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections and wound care

Required skills

  • Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of Endoscopic Vein Harvesting experience
  • Experience in patient care and surgical assistance
  • Knowledge in diagnostic testing and infection management
