Overview

Accountable Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient and outpatient care for Cardiothoracic Surgery patients in Toledo, Ohio. This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule with a combination of day shifts and on-call duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care for Cardiothoracic Surgery patients
  • Perform suture removal and diagnose illnesses
  • Treat illnesses and order tests
  • Interpret tests and write prescriptions
  • Coordinate patient care and conduct rounding
  • Conduct pre-operative physical exams

Required skills

  • Experience in healthcare and medical settings
  • Knowledge of cardiothoracic surgery
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
  • Board certification and experience in inpatient settings like ICU
  • Willingness to obtain an Ohio License
