Overview

This role is for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiothoracic surgery experience at a well-established hospital system in North Dakota. It offers a high-earning opportunity with consistent weekday hours, supporting life-saving procedures and patient recovery in a collaborative surgical environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform inpatient rounding on cardiothoracic surgery patients
  • See clinic patients per day
  • Assist in managing pre- and post-operative care
  • Collaborate closely with CT surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care
  • Support patient recovery and surgical outcomes

Required skills

  • NP or PA certification (Board Certified preferred)
  • Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
  • Active state license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical and surgical care coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
