Overview

SSM Health is seeking a skilled and dynamic radiologist to take on the leadership role of Chief of Breast Imaging at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. This position involves overseeing and advancing a breast imaging program within an academic medical center focused on patient care, education, and research.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the breast imaging division and oversee clinical operations
  • Ensure adherence to FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance
  • Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
  • Perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive breast care
  • Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in clinical research and academic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and regulatory standards

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri
