Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Bariatric Surgeon in Batavia, NY, to join their national team. This role emphasizes a work-life balance with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities, focusing on delivering modern wound management in post-acute care settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Deliver clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds
  • Participate in paid training and complete a 6-month wound care fellowship
  • Maintain a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state
  • Experience in wound management and surgery
  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to utilize clinical technologies
