Overview

ACE Thermal Systems is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality for aerospace products. This role involves overseeing supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards in a challenging environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the quality of the global supply base.
  • Oversee supplier qualification and development activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and costs.
  • Lead investigations into supplier-related nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP standards.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality software tools.
  • Willingness to travel (25-40%) to supplier sites.
