Overview

ACE Thermal Systems is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage and improve the quality of its global supply base for aerospace products. This role involves overseeing supplier performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage supplier quality performance from qualification to production.
  • Lead supplier selection and qualification activities including audits and risk evaluations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality.
  • Conduct investigations and resolution of supplier-related nonconformances.
  • Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain performance.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering in aerospace or defense.
  • Strong experience in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, FAA, and aerospace quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality software tools.
  • Willingness to travel 25-40% to supplier sites.
