Job Description

Overview

The Supervisor of Field Service at SPECTRUM will oversee fulfillment operations across a designated area, ensuring installations and services meet customer expectations and company standards. This role involves supervising a team to maximize customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise installation and service operations to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure first time resolution to installation and trouble call work orders.
  • Conduct quality control checks and resolve escalated customer problems.
  • Provide quality assurance support and direction to field staff.
  • Perform field safety observations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Mentor employees regarding safety, quality, productivity, and well-being.
  • Coordinate and reinforce employee training to meet Technical Quality Assurance standards.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communications and cooperation with internal departments.
  • Maintain records and documents in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP stack and network architectures.
  • Basic knowledge of network devices and appliances.
  • Ability to use software tools for operational support.
  • Experience with installation of Cat5/Cat6 cabling and network devices.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Associates degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of field technician experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a technical environment preferred.
