Confidentiel is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team in Victoriaville, Quebec. The company specializes in unique woodworking projects and values passion, precision, and creativity. The role is strategic in overseeing manufacturing operations, focusing on process efficiency, team development, and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide and support production staff in daily tasks.
  • Ensure proactive leadership in performance and skills management of the team.
  • Collaborate with production and management teams to continuously improve process efficiency.
  • Encourage active participation from team members in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met.
  • Assist in establishing practices to maintain and enhance quality standards.
  • Ensure production accuracy aligns with planning and orders.
  • Organize production planning and coordinate order preparation and execution.
  • Ensure timely shipment of orders.
  • Collaborate with management team members to solve operational challenges and promote innovation.

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, preferably in wood veneer.
  • High school diploma.
  • Continuing education in personnel management and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, SEM).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or production management role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Initiative and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and foster an inclusive environment.
