As the company continues to expand throughout the region, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure successful project execution. About the Position The Superintendent will lead all on-site construction activities for commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules while maintaining the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage multiple roofing projects while maintaining high safety and production standards. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction Communicate project progress with project managers, customers, and company leadership Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and jobsite records Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations Requirements Experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing construction Strong knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout North Florida and the Panhandle as needed Benefits Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually Competitive benefits package Paid time off and company holidays Opportunity to work with a growing, well-established roofing contractor Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization Supportive leadership team focused on employee success and professional development
