Overview

The Superintendent at Olgoonik Corporation serves as the primary onsite manager for construction projects in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves overseeing project employees, subcontractors, and maintaining client relationships, while ensuring safety and quality compliance on site.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide calculations for project hours and develop construction schedules
  • Evaluate quantity of materials and resources needed for projects
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to address scheduling and subcontractor issues
  • Ensure installation project safety compliance and report issues as needed
  • Supervise and coordinate all field activities on construction projects
  • Review and verify crew time sheets for payroll
  • Communicate project priorities and problems effectively
  • Coordinate with Contractor Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officers

Required skills

  • 5+ years of construction experience, specifically in superintendence of mid to large scale projects
  • Understanding of construction methods, techniques, and equipment
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills
  • Ability to read and apply information from blueprints and job specifications
  • OSHA 40 Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred
