Overview

Join the Sid Jacobson JCC Summer Streeters team as a Camp Counselor, working with campers ages 3 to 13 during the summer camp season. This role involves supervising campers, ensuring safety, and actively participating in various camp activities while fostering positive relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and support campers during activities, trips, lunch, and swimming
  • Ensure all safety procedures are enforced and incidents documented
  • Communicate regularly with the Head Counselor and Camp Directors
  • Participate fully in camp activities, including the swim program
  • Foster positive relationships with campers, providing guidance and support
  • Comply with camp policies, rules, and procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Camp Directors
