Description: Would you like to teach in a setting where you can improve students' learning, promote their resilience and confidence, and make a genuine difference? Ignite Achievement Academy is a private, accredited school serving students in grades K-12 with special needs and learning differences.As a substitute classroom teacher, you will deliver instruction to each child in the classroom in alignment with their instructional plan. Each classroom consists of approximately five to seven students who receive a mixture of whole-group instruction and small-group instruction based on their unique learning needs. Our substitute teachers receive training upon hire so they are equipped to work in our unique environment to cover for teacher absences throughout the school year. The curriculum and class structure is very detailed so you will have all of the information needed to succeed! The Substitute Teacher will follow lesson plans, implement behavioral supports, and foster an inclusive environment that promotes learning and student success. In some cases, a Teacher Assistant will be present in the classroom to provide additional support and collaboration. We have sub positions available at each of our campuses.
