Overview

CIFC's Danbury Early Learning Programs is seeking Substitute Assistant Teachers to provide support in classrooms for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. This role offers maximum scheduling flexibility and the potential for permanent employment, aimed particularly at college students and parents.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist classrooms in maintaining routines, curriculum, meals, and related activities
  • Coverage for planned staff vacations and unplanned needs
  • Work under the direction of the Substitute Coordinator and daily classroom Teacher

Required skills

  • Childcare or preschool experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalence (preferred)
