Overview

Dedicated School Staffing is looking for Substitute School Secretaries to provide essential support to Lorain City Schools during staff absences. This part-time, on-call position focuses on ensuring the front office operates efficiently and maintains a welcoming environment for students, families, and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist students, families, staff, and visitors professionally
  • Manage incoming calls and handle communications
  • Support attendance tracking and student sign-ins/outs
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
  • Assist with scheduling and administrative coordination
  • Safeguard confidential student and staff information
  • Follow district policies and office protocols
  • Provide assistance during emergencies and drills
  • Collaborate with building administrators and office staff
