Dedicated School Staffing is looking for organized and dependable Substitute School Secretaries to support the Avon Lake City Schools. This part-time, on-call role is crucial in maintaining smooth office operations, assisting the school community, and ensuring an efficient environment when regular staff are absent.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students, families, staff, and visitors professionally
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and relay messages
  • Assist with attendance reporting, student check-ins/out, and daily office procedures
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, and data entry
  • Support staff with scheduling and communication
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information
