Overview

Dedicated School Staffing is looking for reliable and compassionate Substitute Educational Aides for Wauseon Exempted Village Schools. This part-time, on-call role involves supporting both students and teachers to create a safe and inclusive learning environment, providing direct instructional support, and assisting with classroom management.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist classroom teachers with instruction and student supervision
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support, including for students with special needs
  • Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by the teacher
  • Support students with daily routines and classroom participation
  • Supervise students in various school environments
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • Follow lesson and behavior plans
  • Communicate clearly with teachers and staff

Required skills

  • Valid Ohio educational aide permit or higher teaching license
