Overview

Dedicated School Staffing is seeking Substitute School Cleaners/Custodians for Rocky River City Schools, providing essential support in maintaining clean and safe facilities during staff absences. This part-time, on-call role involves various cleaning and light maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned spaces
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
  • Assist with cafeteria cleanup, including wiping tables and maintaining floors
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs or restocking supplies
  • Set up or break down rooms for events or activities as needed
  • Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to supervisors
  • Follow district cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and schedules
  • Work collaboratively with custodial staff and school personnel
