Overview

Dedicated School Staffing is seeking reliable and hardworking Substitute School Cleaners/Custodians for Pike-Delta-York Local Schools in Delta, Ohio. This part-time, on-call role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff when regular custodial staff are unavailable.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed
  • Assist with cafeteria cleanup and maintaining floors
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or restocking supplies
  • Set up and break down rooms for events or activities
  • Ensure safe handling and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to supervisors
  • Follow district cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and schedules
  • Work collaboratively with custodial staff and school personnel
