ESP's vision is to provide world-class structural steel to customers across its product range that incorporates:This position involves the precise fitting, aligning, and welding of structural steel components. The role requires heavy experience reading and interpreting blueprints.Responsibilities:Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fitting requirements.Fit and assemble structural steel components using measuring tools, clamps, and welding equipment.Perform FCAW and MIG welding to join steel parts according to industry standards.Inspect welded joints and structural assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.Requirements:3+ years of proven experience as a structural steel welder or fitter in a construction or fabrication environment.Experience working with heavy structural steelExperience with FCAW WeldingCommitment to safe workPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.Lift and carry materials or tools weighing up to 50+ poundsAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots as required.ESP is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
