Overview

Structural Project Engineer requires: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited engineering program. • 10 years of structural engineering experience in the specialized discipline. • Proficiency with discipline-specific design software. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Professional Engineer (PE) License. • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level. • Civil engineering, discipline-specific design software, Microsoft Office, engineering design, design computations, construction cost estimating, contract plans, specifications, estimates, proposals, project scheduling, project coordination, survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, topographical data, geologic data Duties: • Responsible for engineering design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments with limited supervision. • Acts as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers. • Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects • Perform design computations • Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools • Develop construction cost estimates •
