R & D SPECIALTIES LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team in Odessa, Texas. This role involves the design, analysis, and construction oversight of various structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for industrial projects
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for construction teams and clients
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
  • Collaborate with managers to develop integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material specifications, and construction methods
  • Identify potential structural issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
  • Proven experience in structural design and analysis
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro
  • Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
