The Structural Designer at Contract Lumber will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and optimization of designs while adhering to industry standards. This full-time, on-site position based in Flowery Branch, GA, focuses on providing exceptional customer service and quality solutions for builder customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Ensure designs are accurate and conform to standards
  • Request sealed engineering drawings and follow up for completeness
  • Generate Engineered Wood Products placement layouts
  • Produce accurate material take offs for estimating purposes
  • Provide job-site support as needed
