Engineering of Anaheim, CA is seeking to hire a full-time Structural AutoCAD Drafter - Drafting Engineer to assist in creating various types of structural, architectural, and other general drawings generated in AutoCAD. The typical schedule for this structural engineering position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.Our Structural AutoCAD Drafters - Drafting Engineers earn a competitive age of $25-$35/hour based on experience. We also do fun things like birthday lunches, company "play" days, team-building events, and community service projects.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A STRUCTURAL AUTOCAD DRAFTER - DRAFTING ENGINEERAs a Structural AutoCAD Drafter - Drafting Engineer, you produce the product that is the heartbeat of our design process. Each day, you can be found drafting structural layouts, structural framing, and other structural plans. You also have the opportunity to draft architectural plans and details. When necessary, you revise and update existing drawings, reflecting design changes.Though you do spend a lot of time at the computer, you also get to use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills on a regular basis to maintain good working relationships with managers, peers, and customers. You maintain an open dialogue with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget, and mistake-free.QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of structural drafting experienceAutoCAD experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office productsExperience with concrete detailing is requiredExperience with tilt-up is a plusAre you organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time effectively?
