Job Description

Overview

Boeing is seeking Experienced or Senior Structural Analysis Engineers to join their team in the Greater St. Louis region. This role focuses on verifying structural integrity through analytical methods, finite element modeling, and simulations to support aerospace programs within Boeing Defense Space and Security.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design
  • Coordinate with engineering groups to establish the product's environment
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and simulations
  • Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze/test report results
  • Define and document certification and test results for customer and regulatory agencies
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and suggesting improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences)
  • 5+ years of related work experience (Level 3) or 9+ years (Level 4)
  • Experience with hand calculations and industry CAD systems (NX/Teamcenter)
  • FEM software knowledge (ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks)
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
