Job Description

Overview

The Store Manager at Safelite in Pineville, NC, will lead all retail store operations with a strong focus on quality and customer service to ensure an exceptional experience for customers. This role requires effective people management, coaching, and oversight of operations including cash management, inventory control, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage work orders and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Drive team performance to meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Ensure all technicians are SafeTech certified and provide quality installs or repairs.
  • Guide proper vehicle and equipment maintenance and recordkeeping.
  • Respond quickly to client complaints or warranty issues.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in retail or service center environments
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
