Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking a Store Manager in Training for their Peoria area locations. This role offers an opportunity to learn store operations and leadership skills with the goal of eventually leading a store.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn all aspects of store operations and leadership
  • Help lead and develop store teams
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and employee training
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and daily operations
  • Manage financial performance and drive store results
  • Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive store culture
  • Lead by example and support team success

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems
