Job Description

Overview

The Store Manager at Safelite is responsible for leading retail store operations with an emphasis on delivering quality customer service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role includes overseeing inventory control, loss prevention, cash management, and fostering team performance through coaching and guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and work order management.
  • Drive team performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure technicians are SafeTech certified and performing quality installs or repairs.
  • Provide world-class customer service and respond to client complaints.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED or 5-7 years leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, particularly in retail or service center environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail or automotive service centers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
