Job Description

Overview

As a Stand Supervisor at Six Flags Great Adventure, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation of assigned locations while adhering to food quality and safety standards. This role involves leading and training a team to deliver excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of associates
  • Enforce food preparation and handling procedures
  • Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and safety
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and rotation of items
  • Coordinate with management for smooth food preparation and service
  • Troubleshoot staff, equipment, or customer service issues
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere during high-traffic periods
  • Address guest concerns in a solution-oriented manner
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of all units
  • Provide feedback, support, and coaching to associates
  • Evaluate associates for promotion opportunities
  • Comply with all Six Flags policies

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of Food and Beverage Operations experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to pass ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Food Handler
  • Flexible hours availability including weekends and holidays
  • Professional, outgoing, and energetic attitude
  • Motivational skills
  • Comfortable with POS systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
