Our client is seeking an experienced Staffing Specialist to join their growing Phoenix team. This is an excellent opportunity for a staffing professional who understands the Phoenix market and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background recruiting for Light Industrial and Skilled Manufacturing positions, with additional experience supporting light industrial and skilled manufacturing placements considered a strong plus. This role requires someone who can build relationships with candidates, manage high-volume requisitions, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and employees while working onsite daily. Key Responsibilities Recruit, interview, and place qualified candidates for Light Industrial and Skilled Manufacturing positions throughout the Phoenix market. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and assignment follow-up. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent using job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach. Partner closely with clients to understand staffing needs and deliver qualified candidates in a timely manner. Coordinate onboarding activities, including employment documentation, background checks, drug screenings, and employment eligibility verification. Conduct regular check-ins with employees and clients to ensure successful placements and high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Respond quickly to urgent staffing requests and prioritize multiple openings simultaneously. Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, and community networking opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and safety requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of staffing industry experience in the Phoenix, Arizona market. Proven success recruiting for Light Industrial and Skilled Manufacturing positions. Experience recruiting for Office/Administrative roles is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of the local Phoenix labor market and hiring trends. Excellent interviewing, sourcing, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume staffing environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and recruiting platforms. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
