Job Description: The Staff SVP, Finance Officer is a senior finance executive responsible for aligning closely with the business to deliver significant strategic and operational benefits. This finance role will act as a true business partner, moving beyond transactional tasks to provide forward-looking insights, analytics, and strategic guidance that influence decision-making at every level. This role will ensure that finance is present early in discussions about growth, risk, and capital allocation, enabling better resource deployment, stronger ROI discipline, and improved risk management. This role partners closely with the CFO, EVPs and COO to drive financial strategy and strategic decision making. The role will have interactions with clients and regulators. Act as a true business partner to the CFO, COO, and EVPs to shape financial strategy and decision-makingLead regular business performance reviews, focusing discussion on actions and decisionDevelop management reporting and analytics to enable strategic decisionsImplement rigor and discipline around investments, expenses, budgets, and growth initiativesDriving cost and productivity discussionsSupport expansion into new geographies and products and other strategic initiativesTranslate financial data into actionable strategies that foster innovation and adaptabilityBuild advanced FP&A capabilities, including dynamic forecasting and scenario planningDevelop market and competitor intelligence capabilities, bringing external perspectives into analysisProvide finance support for ad hoc projectsParticipate on legal entity regulatory boardsEstablish strong relationships with field operations, clients, and regulators to ensure transparency and compliance Qualifications: 4 Year Bachelors DegreeMBA or other advanced degree in finance, economics, or similar fields a plusCPA, CTP or CFA a plus 10+ years of experience leading finance business partner support to the CFO, COO, and EVPs, building advanced FP&A capabilities, leading regular business performance reviews, focusing discussion on actions and decision, leading M&A transactions within the c ommercial property insurance sector. Proven experience as a senior finance executive with global or multi-region responsibilityStrong business acumen of insurance and financeExcellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated project management and planning capabilities, including identifying critical issues early and coordinating with senior leadershipExceptional executive presence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership
