Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Operating Room in Delaware, Ohio. This role requires previous experience in an acute care OR setting and includes on-call commitment. The RN will deliver nursing care across a multi-service line OR, ensuring safe and effective treatment for patients with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions
  • Revise care plans based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job duties

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
