Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Procedural Care Unit in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves providing nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, particularly before and after procedures in Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiovascular labs. The department operates 24/7 and requires commitment to a scheduled workload, including holidays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job duties

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification
  • BSN required within 5 years of employment
  • Experience in ED, ICU, or cardiac/intermediate care preferred
