Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Medsurg Ortho 2 unit in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves providing general nursing care to patients and families in acute healthcare settings, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. As part of a multidisciplinary team, RNs will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care while participating in process improvement and maintaining high standards of clinical quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions
  • Revise plans of care based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
