Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Med Surg Trauma unit in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves providing general nursing care to patients and families in a 24/7 healthcare environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions
  • Revise plan of care based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job duties

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact state
  • BLS certification
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
  • Strong clinical skills and assessment capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Leadership skills in nursing practices
