Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a casual Staff RN for the Labor & Delivery unit in Mansfield, Ohio. The role involves providing general nursing care to patients and their families in various acute healthcare settings, emphasizing the importance of safety, quality, and efficiency in nursing practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality
  • Delegate tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience in acute care settings
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
