Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Labor and Delivery unit in Pickerington, Ohio. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their healthcare journey, supporting both wellness and sickness in a collaborative environment. As a key player in a team focused on high reliability, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on diagnoses and patient needs
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and revise care plans as necessary
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact state
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
  • Experience in nursing assessment, care planning, and implementation
