Job Description

Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff RN for the Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio, to provide general nursing care to patients and families in acute healthcare settings. The RN will be responsible for a variety of tasks including patient assessment, care plan development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments of patients
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and revise care plans as necessary
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs
  • Experience in nursing care, patient education, and clinical documentation
  • Knowledge of care plan development and quality improvement
