Job Description

Overview

As a Staff RN in the Grant Hybrid CCU stepdown unit at OhioHealth, you will provide general nursing care to patients and families within diverse, acute healthcare settings. Your role will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while ensuring adherence to the standards set by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and revise care plans as needed
  • Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact state
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs
  • Critical thinking and care coordination skills
