Overview

The Staff RN in Cardiovascular Intermediate Care at OhioHealth provides nursing care to patients across diverse acute healthcare settings. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while adhering to department policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions
  • Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality
  • Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per Ohio Nurse Practice Act
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job duties

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS certification
  • BSN required after 5 years of employment
  • Experience in cardiovascular care
  • Patient assessment and nursing care skills
  • Team collaboration and clinical quality improvement
