Overview

The Staff Pharmacist Manager is responsible for second shift operations in a high-volume automated home delivery pharmacy. This leadership role emphasizes safe and compliant pharmacy practices while optimizing performance through effective management and development of pharmacy staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee second shift pharmacy performance, safety, quality, and compliance
  • Guide and mentor licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and quality
  • Foster a respectful and high-performance culture in alignment with company values
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for seamless operations

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active Indiana Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday
  • Experience in a fulfillment center is a plus
