Job Description

Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Analyst to support its IT Infrastructure & Operations organization's Classified Solutions team in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role involves managing multi-user computer systems in classified government contracts, and the selected candidate will work full-time on-site. Key responsibilities include collaborating with various stakeholders, leading operations, analyzing customer requirements, and ensuring compliance with security guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Support information system lifecycle activities for classified government contracts
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership and customers
  • Lead operations of multi-user computer systems and coordinate with IT teams
  • Architect and evaluate solutions for system enhancements
  • Engage with vendors for product evaluation and recommendations
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend system enhancements
  • Manage backup and recovery services for classified systems
  • Lead testing of new product releases and document technical processes
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members

Required skills

  • PhD with 8 years, Master's Degree with 10 years, Bachelor's Degree with 12 years, or Associate's Degree with 14 years of
  • Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience designing and managing Windows domain architectures in classified environments
  • Proficiency in Windows AD, LDAP, VMware, and SAN storage systems
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher
  • 12 years of Windows Server Administration experience in classified environments
  • Advanced networking expertise including VLANs and Cisco technologies
  • Proficient in installing and maintaining computer hardware in networked environments
  • Extensive virtualization experience with SAN storage systems
  • Cross-platform operating system proficiency
