Overview

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Staff Attorney to join their legal team primarily working remotely in California. This role involves representing the company and its policyholders in workers' compensation claims while managing cases from inception through resolution in a supportive environment focused on work/life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and drafting legal documents
  • Support senior counsel in case handling throughout the litigation process
  • Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to claims representatives and clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
  • Utilize e-discovery and case management technologies to enhance legal processes
  • Identify and evaluate legal risks and collaborate on resolution strategies
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of legal documents
  • Provide timely updates and recommendations to clients and claims professionals
  • Participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and best practices within the legal organization
  • Uphold ethical compliance and legal regulations

Required skills
