Overview

The Staff Accountant at KRIER FOODS LLC will handle various accounting tasks, focusing on accounts payable functions and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working fully onsite in Random Lake, Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain and update accounting files and records.
  • Provide support to the CFO and controller as needed.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • ERP experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
